Privacy, Safety & Communications

Updated February 24, 2026

Your privacy and safety matter. Here is what we collect and what we do not.

What We Store

Idaho Abortion Rights stores a single randomized key in your browser’s local storage. This key records that you have seen the emergency exit button tutorial. It exists only to avoid showing you that tutorial on every page visit. It contains no personal information and is never transmitted to us.

What We Do Not Collect

Idaho Abortion Rights does not retain your personal browsing data. We do not collect anything immediately or directly identifiable with your browsing on the site. No cookies (please see “What We Leave”). No tracking. No user accounts.

We do not know who you are unless you contact us directly (and you can remain relatively anonymous when contacting us).

What the Server Collects

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare stores access logs briefly at the edge of their network. These logs are deleted within 4 hours for most users. If there is an error, error logs are kept for up to 1 week for diagnostic purposes.

Cloudflare does not store logs long-term unless specifically configured to do so. We have not enabled log retention.

How Donations Are Processed

Donations are processed through ActBlue, a third-party fundraising platform. When you make a donation, ActBlue collects your name, email, address, and payment information. ActBlue may also collect device and browser data for fraud prevention purposes.

ActBlue’s privacy policy governs how your donation data is stored and used. This website do not receive or store your payment details. You can review ActBlue’s privacy policy at secure.actblue.com.

Nothing on this site should be construed as medical or legal advice. All data on this site is for informational purposes only.

We are a mutual aid organization. We connect people to resources. We do not provide medical services. We do not provide legal representation.

If you need medical advice, speak with a healthcare provider. If you need legal advice, speak with a lawyer.

Your Safety

  • Emergency Exit Button: Use the emergency exit button to quickly leave this site. It will redirect you to Wikipedia.
  • Use Private Browsing: Consider using private or incognito mode when visiting this site. This prevents your browser from saving your history.
  • Use a VPN: A VPN hides your internet activity from your internet service provider and anyone monitoring your network.
  • Clear Your History: Clear your browser history and cache after visiting.
  • Use Encrypted Communication: If contacting us, use encrypted apps like Signal for maximum privacy.

What To Know About Your Digital Privacy

Your internet service provider can see what websites you visit. Your phone carrier can see your location and some of your internet activity. Apps on your phone may track your location.

If someone has access to your phone or computer, they may be able to see your browsing history, texts, and emails. Even if you delete them.

If you are in an unsafe situation where someone monitors your device, consider using a public computer at a library or a friend’s device.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I need to contact you?

If you need to get in touch, use encrypted communication like Signal. Avoid texting or emailing from a phone or email account that someone else can access. Consider creating a new email account just for this purpose. We suggest a free ProtonMail account.

Is it safe to browse this site from my home WiFi?

Yes, but your internet service provider can see you visited. If someone monitors your network activity, consider using a VPN or accessing from a public WiFi network.

Can police access information about my visit to this site?

We do not collect or store information about who visits this site. Cloudflare keeps temporary logs for diagnostic purposes and deletes them within 4 hours. Police would need a warrant to obtain logs from Cloudflare, and those logs would need to be requested within the 4-hour window.

Can someone track that I visited this site?

Your internet service provider and anyone with access to your network can see you visited this site. Use a VPN and private browsing to minimize tracking. Clear your browser history after visiting.

Do you share my information with anyone?

We do not collect personal information from your browsing. If you contact us directly, we keep that information confidential and do not share it with anyone unless compelled to by lawful warrant.
